The Sub-Machine Gun (also called SPAZ Mark 1) is a Blue Class weapon that appears in both Manhunt games.
In Manhunt, it appears in the missions Wrong Side of the Tracks and Trained to Kill. In Manhunt 2, it appears in the missions Bees Honey Pot, Assassination, Most Wanted, Broadcast Interrupted, Altered State (Wii/PC) and Release Therapy.
It is a weapon used by the Carcer City Police Department, S.W.A.T., The Bloodhounds. Project Militia, The Legion and The Watchdogs.
Based on its design, the Sub-Machine Gun seems to be a mix of the IMI Uzi and MAC-10 without a stock (although it looks more like the Uzi). It also bear some similarity from the SOCIMI Type 821, which turns to be a improved Italian clone of the Uzi. It fires 9mm ammo in a 32-round magazine, giving it excellent rate-of-fire, fair accuracy and range.
