Vehicle license plates are featured in the Manhunt series with the player's ability to explore in a three-dimensional environment making plates viewable. The feature has very little use aside for cosmetic purposes.

Most of the license plates in Manhunt are blank, except for the Police Cars and The Reporter's Blista Compact. In Manhunt 2, some plates are static textures (Kuruma, Blista, Mule) and some are blank (like the Mule in Best Friends). Cars like Stinger, Admiral and Burrito have a Florida state plate.
Strangely, the Blista Compact in Manhunt has a Vice City plate, the Trashmaster and Yankee in Manhunt 2 have a Liberty City plate, reading LC R29 . Probably, Rockstar forgot to change them.
